Los Angeles authorities have officially identified the decomposed body found inside a Tesla registered to American singer D4vd. The remains belong to 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been missing for more than a year.
Shocking Discovery in Hollywood Parking Lot
On September 8, 2025, staff at a Hollywood towing lot reported a strong odor coming from a Tesla vehicle. When officers opened the trunk, they discovered heavily decomposed human remains sealed in a trash bag. The car, a Tesla sedan, was confirmed to be registered to rising music star David Anthony Burke, better known by his stage name D4vd.
Victim Identified as Missing Teen
After forensic testing, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed that the body was Celeste Rivas, who disappeared in April 2024 at the age of 13. Authorities revealed that the body was not intact, indicating she had been dead for a long time. However, the exact cause and time of death remain under investigation.
Singer Cooperating With Authorities
Police emphasized that D4vd is not currently considered a suspect and is fully cooperating with investigators. The 20-year-old artist was on tour when the discovery was made and has since canceled a scheduled concert in Seattle.
