Predator: Badlands Alien crossover discussions have started to excite fans after a striking comment from the film’s lead actor. As the Predator universe finds new energy with Predator: Badlands, attention has already shifted toward possible sequel stories and even larger cross-universe encounters.
During a special event celebrating the film’s digital release, lead actor Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, who plays the Yautja warrior Dek, was asked an intriguing question: which creature from another cinematic universe would he like his character to face next? His answer immediately caught the attention of both Predator and Alien fans.
Predator: Badlands Star Points to Alien: Romulus Creature
When asked about a potential opponent for Dek in a sequel, Schuster-Koloamatangi initially joked that most movie monsters would probably be an easy challenge for a Predator. After giving it some thought, however, he chose a much more dangerous option: the terrifying hybrid creature known as the Offspring from Alien: Romulus.
According to the actor, the Offspring’s massive size, disturbing design, and hybrid nature would make it a truly worthy enemy. He emphasized that this particular creature feels powerful and unpredictable enough to seriously challenge a Yautja warrior, unlike many other well-known monsters.
A New Predator and Alien Crossover Possibility
This statement is especially interesting considering the shared history between the Predator and Alien universes. Both franchises exist under the same corporate umbrella and have crossed paths before in earlier crossover projects.
While Schuster-Koloamatangi’s comments do not confirm any official plans, they clearly open the door to new speculation. A modern crossover involving the Predator: Badlands version of the Yautja and the darker tone of Alien: Romulus could offer a fresh and more intense take on the classic rivalry.
Inside the Physical Preparation for Dek
During the interview, the actor also spoke about his preparation for the role. He explained that playing a Yautja required intense physical training and a strong focus on movement. Schuster-Koloamatangi worked to combine animal-like motions with combat choreography to give Dek a distinct fighting style.
He also pointed out that Dek is described as the “youngest member of the family” within the story. This narrative choice allowed the character to rely more on speed, agility, and quick reactions rather than brute strength alone, setting him apart from previous Predator portrayals.
What’s Next for Predator: Badlands?
At the moment, Predator: Badlands is available on digital platforms, and there has been no official announcement regarding a sequel. Still, the actor’s comments and the growing interest in a potential Alien crossover have already raised expectations among fans.
Whether or not such a crossover ever becomes reality, it’s clear that the Predator universe is far from finished — and the possibilities ahead are more exciting than ever.
