At the same time, a deadly new plague emerged in the United States and spread rapidly across the globe. Borders closed. Panic replaced reason. Corporations stepped in where governments failed, and one company in particular began preparing for the end.

Las Vegas survived only because Robert House’s missile defense system intercepted most incoming warheads. The rest of the world was not so lucky.
By 11:00, the war was over. The sky darkened. Black radioactive rain began to fall.
Aftermath: A World Forever Changed
The nuclear exchange destroyed ecosystems across the planet. Sunlight vanished behind ash clouds. Radiation reshaped life itself.
Humans caught in the fallout became ghouls—irradiated but functionally immortal.
Animals mutated into new species like Brahmin, Radroaches, and Deathclaws.
